Description
Interior refurbishment of an old house placed between the street and a courtyard. This condition is used to empower the connection between the two facades and create an axis wide enough to become a place of relation among the different parts of the dwelling.
Long visuals are crucial in the project, as enable the perception of the wideness of the new space. We exploited the longitudinal axis to avoid interrupting the light flow between the two facades that the old distribution had blocked.
The new plan tries to partition the space in a way that all the rooms can take advantage of the new luminosity. Only two materials are used: wood and white.
